" OH MY GOURD" Haunted Design House Challenge.

I haven't participated in a challenge for quite awhile and thought I'd jump in and give this one a go. It's all down to my friend Mark over at SPESH INK for the inspiration to participate. The theme this week over at Haunted Design House is to base your project around Pumpkins. So here's my contribution to this weeks challenge.

I have made a cut and paste ATC. The ATC was made using the Tim Holtz ATC die. The background was created in photoshop using elements and brushes from my stash. Mr Scary Pumpkin Head was also created in photoshop with the body of a vintage image attached. Cut the body and head out and glued to the ATC. Glossy accents was then applied to the Pumpkin Head to give dimension. A fun challenge will have to participate again. Thanks Mark.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and read.

Book of Secrets finished project work.

As mentioned in a previous post I have been undertaking another online workshop with the fabulous Andy Skinner. This time round it was his Book of Secrets Workshop. Playing with paint techniques to create a Steampunk style book with a hidden secret. I had so much fun with the techniques learnt I created not one but four pieces. I must say that Andy's classes are great fun. He is a Fabulous teacher with a wealth of knowledge. Nothing is too much trouble for this guy and his sense of humour has now become legendary in the forums. He's a real hoot and that's what I love about him. If you have chance to take one of his classes I can assure you that you will not be dissapointed. You will learn a great deal, be in very good company and make a lot friends along the way. Roll on the next class. I can't wait..................................Here's my creations. Enjoy.

Recent Creative Works

Just a quick post to catch up on my recent creative works. Marsha aka Tumblefish Studio has released two Fabulous new kits over @ Deviant Scrap. Summer Junque 1 &Summer Junque2. Delightfully vintage and a sweet colour pallette. I had a lot of fun with these two kits and I have a few more ideas up my sleeve, so I have not finished playing with these just yet!! Nancy aka Crowabout StudioB has released a delightfully wacky kit and it is just pure crazy. I love it. Aptly named Wacky Pack it is jammed full of elements and of course collage sheets for all you cut and pasters out there. So hop on over to Deviant Scrap and check these baby's out.
