Day #2 of The 31 Days of Halloween.

Welcome back for day 2 Bring it on..............
people are posting some great Halloween  themed content
on their blogs daily.
So go check them all out and leave some feedback so everyone knows you stopped by.

For my make today I altered a candle using the stamped tissue paper technique. I used the images Common Grave Skulls and Excavation Skull from the wonderfully Haunting imagery from the Morte real rubber set which was a past offering from Smeared Ink and no longer available but you can get the digital Imagery from this set  in Ricks Zibbet and Etsy stores.

I also used a quote from the As Death Real Rubber set from Smeared ink to compliment the imagery. I have had this candle dome for awhile so decided to alter it up gothic style to compliment and showcase the candle.

Die cut borders using a spellbinders die were added to the bottom. Black waxed leather cord wound round the neck and the skull stamped onto shrink plastic and added to a metal tag was attached to the top. To finish a black satin ribbon bow added. A candle holder was given a coat of DecoArt Media Texture sand and when dry two coats of DecoArt Media fluid Acrylic in black was applied and to finish and protect the base a coat of DecoArt Media Matte Varnish was applied.

That's it from me for today. Thanks for stopping by.
See ya tomorrow with more cool Halloween stuff to show.
