Smeared Ink Returns Woot!!!!

Good Morning. Exciting news to share today Terra and Tori of SMEARED INK have decided to open up shop again YAY!!!!!

Smeared Ink offers both unmounted rubber and digital art stamps that embrace alternative, gothic, edgy, and unique designs. We thrive on different and unusual. We welcome the macabre and devious side of things, and pride ourselves on being one of the first "dark" stamp companies on the scene, paving the way for others and creating a community of alternative stampers.

To kick things off today with the re-opening of the shop the Smeared Ink Design Team are showcasing some fabulous projects on a blog hop using digital and Real Rubber Images from the Smeared Ink Store . I do hope you will participate and follow the blog roll below and of course visit the new Store and celebrate the return of Smeared Ink with us all.

BLOG ROLL

Here is my contribution as part of the Smeared Ink DT using one of the images from the L'il Grumpies real rubber set. I decided to make a Tealight Box Card. Tutorial can be found here on the Stampartic blog. I then proceeded to follow the tutorial to create the box. I then  filled the box with  scented tea lights. I then created the book cover and matted and layered with cardstock and papers.  The inside was then also decorated and a sentiment attached. The tealight box was then attached to the inside of the cover. The grumpie image was stamped using archival ink and coloured up with copics. A mask was then added and the background coloured with distress inks. This was then matted onto black cardstock and before attaching to the front of the book cover a piece of organza ribbon was attached to the book cover and the main image attached to secure the ribbon in place.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and read.
Hugs Fiona.
