Danse Macabre with Smudgefest 2015 Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of Smudgefest!  For all the details on the challenge and rules, please head on over to the Smeared  and Smudged blog HERE.

The Challenge for Day 3 is Wet Wednesday.

Moisture is the essence of wetness, and wetness is the essence of beauty! Derek Zoolander said it best...today's challenge is to use some sort of wet medium in your project. So bust out the watercolors, paints, resins, nailpolish, or inks, and get messy!

Here's my take and make on todays challenge. I decided to get Inky very Inky Indeed !

My project today is a Tag Notebook. A little folder to carry around and jot down those all important notes. I used The Danse Macabre Rubber set from Smeared Ink . A folder was created from black 300gsm cardstock for stability and scored to make the panels. Cardstock cut to size to make panels  and then inked and stamped for the front covers. Inside a Memo pad was given a new Inked and stamped cover and attached to the back panel of the folder. Decorative paper was then added to the inside panels. A tag was stamped with a sentiment from the Danse Macabre Rubber set and attached to one side of the front cover to form the closure. To finish Black Organza ribbon attached to the tag to tie the Notebook closed.

A fun project to make which has so many possibilities.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and read.
Hugs Fiona
