Welcome to Day 2 of Smudgefest! For all the details on the challenge and rules, please head on over to the Smeared and Smudged blog HERE.
The Challenge for Day 2 is Tape Tuesday.
Whether it's washi, masking, duct, or scotch, we're challenging you to use some sort of tape in your project today! Don't limit yourself to the norm, find a creative use and WOW us!
Here is my take on the challenge. Now I don't normally use this stuff but guess what I have a bucketful of the stuff in my stash so today I finally used some.
I decided to create a card and used one of the Raven Rubber stamps from the Quoth The Raven Rubber set from Smeared Ink. The Raven was stamped with Black versafine ink onto some speciality stamping cardstock. This was then inked with Distress inks in Scattered Strw, Rusty Hinge and Pumice stone. The word Raven also from the rubber set was stamped at the bottom. Frames were then cut from spellbinders dies Labels 28 and the image matted and layered and fastened with brads. The background and border was created using an Embossing Folder set a freebie from a craft magazine. The border was matted onto black cardstock and then a Spooky Washi tape applied either side of the border. Organza Ribbon and a bow was then added before matting the border and main background onto a Craft Cardstock Base.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and read.
Hugs Fiona.
